Fair of collections, antique weapons and militaria at the Lestelle-de-Saint-Martory community hall
Every year in August, the Lestelle-de-Saint-Martory community hall hosts a collectors' fair entirely dedicated to antique weapons, militaria, and collectible items related to military history. Organized by the CATP (Club des Amateurs de Tir des Pyrénées), this event brings together specialized exhibitors from the greater southwest of France. You can find regulated antique weapons, military decorations, uniforms, headgear, insignia, historical documents, war postcards, decorated shell casings, and many other items related to conflicts and military history.
The fair attracts both seasoned collectors and history buffs curious to discover rare and authentic pieces. The exhibitors are generally specialists who can provide valuable historical information about the objects presented. It's an opportunity to exchange, complete a collection, or simply immerse oneself in history through the everyday objects of soldiers and armies.
Lestelle-de-Saint-Martory is a commune in Comminges, located in the Garonne valley, between Saint-Gaudens and Saint-Martory.
