About Chez La Voisine Flea Market

In Mormoiron, a village on the slopes of Mont Ventoux, the 1.2.3 association runs its summer flea market called 'Chez La Voisine' ('The Neighbour's Place'). Meeting at 199H Le Cours, one of Mormoiron's emblematic addresses, in a Provençal village atmosphere. From 9 am to 5 pm, private sellers and small exhibitors set up for a day of affordable hunting. An ultra-accessible stand rate of €5 for 5 m² encourages participation.

Mormoiron, a village between the Auzon and Ventoux

15 km east of Carpentras, along the Auzon river, Mormoiron spreads its Provençal alleys in a landscape of ochres, Ventoux AOC vines and pines. Famous for white asparagus, Lake Paty and historic ochre quarries, the village has kept a dense associative life.

The 1.2.3 association and the neighbourhood spirit

A small local organisation that brings together Mormoiron residents. Their 'Chez La Voisine' flea market is the opposite of a large commercial brocante: smaller, more intimate, warmer. Stand price of €5 per 5 m² is among the most accessible in the department.

At 199H Le Cours

The meeting point is 199H Le Cours, an informal address next to a house nicknamed 'the neighbour's'. Forty to sixty stalls under the plane trees, with ochre façades and terraces.

What to find

Private sellers: bric-à-brac, clothing, crockery, books, records, toys, decoration, small furniture. A few local craftspeople may join in — soaps, jewellery, pottery, textiles.

Village life

Old-fashioned village flea-market atmosphere: people know each other, haggle in good humour, grab a drink at the association bar. Children run around, dogs doze in the shade.

Tips

Arrive early. Hat and water in June. Cash. Extend with Lake Paty, the ochre quarries or Ventoux AOC cellars.
