Nans-les-Pins is a typical Provençal village at the northern foot of the Sainte-Baume massif, on the Var / Bouches-du-Rhône border. Its Cours du Général de Gaulle, a large plane-lined avenue, hosts a well-liked annual flea market.
Organised by CCSSB (Sainte-Baume cultural committee) and PEPS association, this event stands out for its setting: plane trees, Provençal façades and village fountains. 2026 edition confirmed for Saturday 16 May, 9am-6pm, with seller setup from 7.30am.
Stand fee: €5 per linear metre, affordable to encourage local and village participation. Mandatory advance registration via PEPS: +33 7 67 13 61 58 or [email protected]. Free visitor entry.
The old village with ruined castle, cobblestones and stone houses takes about an hour on foot. The GR9 trail leads to the grotto of Mary Magdalene at Plan-d'Aups via Sainte-Baume forest. Local vineyards and olive estates add gastronomic appeal.
