The summer bargain hunt of the local pétanque club, Place du Foirail
The Bleuets Roquecortois flea market is one of those summer events that gives Occitan villages all their flavour. Organised each end of August by the local pétanque club, it brings life to the Place du Foirail, the central square of Roquecor, perched 220 metres above the Petite Séoune valley.
Roquecor is one of the prettiest villages in north-western Tarn-et-Garonne, twenty kilometres from Lauzerte and very close to Montaigu-de-Quercy. Its history goes back to the 13th century, around the castles of Roquecor and Couyssels. The white stone, the narrow lanes and the legend of the Roc des Nobis give the place a unique atmosphere.
The flea market mainly brings together individuals from the village and surrounding communes. They unpack what the attics and barns of Quercy have kept over the decades: family tableware, old tools, rustic oak or walnut furniture, antique books, clothing, toys, varied bric-a-brac and sometimes lovely pieces of regional ceramics or local old papers. This is exactly the kind of event where you can find real treasures at small prices.
Beyond the bargain hunt, the village festival spirit dominates. Les Bleuets, Roquecor's historic pétanque club, take advantage of this day to fund their activities. The on-site refreshments and food maintain conviviality throughout the day.
The flea market takes place on the Place du Foirail, in the heart of Roquecor village (82150). The village is reached via the D7 from Montaigu-de-Quercy (7 km).
Public opening from the morning, throughout the day on Tuesday 25 August 2026.
Reservation essential by phone: +33 6 84 85 25 02.
