A car boot sale at the Halle Gilbert Trottier

The Sorigny car boot sale takes over the Espace Gilbert Trottier every year, a multi-purpose hall located at 9 rue des Combattants en AFN. Exhibitors — essentially private individuals — offer a nice assortment of everyday items: clothing, toys, tableware, books, small furniture, tools, decoration, household appliances and bargains of all kinds. The covered space allows the event to take place even in case of rain, making it a reliable date in the bargain hunter's calendar.

Sorigny, crossroads of southern Touraine

Sorigny is a town of about 2,500 inhabitants, ideally located at the crossroads of the Tours–Châtellerault and Tours–Loches routes. Crossed by the A10 motorway, it benefits from a strategic position while retaining a pleasant rural setting. Its Saint-Pierre church, its restored washhouse and its hiking trails bear witness to a preserved heritage. The festival committee enlivens local life throughout the year.

The car boot sale takes place on Sundays, with free entry for visitors. A refreshment stand is offered on site by the festival committee. Parking is easy around the hall.
