Car boot sale and onion fair of Saint-Branchs, spring tradition of Southern Touraine
The Saint-Branchs car boot sale is part of the traditional Onion Fair, a popular event that combines flea market finds, a producers' market, and village entertainment in the heart of southern Touraine.
The Saint-Branchs car boot sale is one of the highlights of the Onion Fair, a well-established spring tradition in this Touraine village. More than 100 exhibitors offer local clothing, toys, tableware, furniture, books, records, tools, trinkets, and various items, while local producers sell their onions, seeds, and seasonal plants. The event is accompanied by musical entertainment, children's games, and a festive atmosphere that attracts families from all over the region.
Saint-Branchs is a commune of about 2,500 inhabitants located south of Tours, in a plateau landscape interspersed with wooded valleys. The village is known for its two emblematic annual fairs: the Onion Fair in spring and the Nut Fair in autumn, which perpetuate the agricultural traditions of Touraine. The church and tuffeau houses in the village center bear witness to well-preserved rural heritage.
The fair offers entertainment and music throughout the day, as well as on-site catering and a bar. Admission is free. Contact and reservations: 06 87 38 60 06.
The Onion Fair and car boot sale of Saint-Branchs return on April 19, 2026.
