30th car boot sale at the Moulin in Veigné, a historic meeting place for bargain hunters in the Indre valley
The Vide-greniers du Moulin de Veigné is a historic event celebrating its 30th anniversary at the Championnière site, bringing together hundreds of exhibitors and bargain hunters in the Indre valley, south of Tours.
The Vide-greniers du Moulin is celebrating its 30th edition in 2026, making it one of the oldest and most popular bargain hunting events in the town of Veigné. Held at the Championnière site, this car boot sale brings together hundreds of private exhibitors offering clothing, toys, tableware, books, vinyl records, small furniture, garden tools, trinkets, household linen, sports equipment, and various other items. The event's longevity is a testament to its success among the residents of the Indre valley.
The association Vide-Greniers du Moulin is a major player in the associative life of Veigné. For 30 years, it has organized this annual event with a constant focus on conviviality and good organization. Veigné, a town of 6,500 inhabitants crossed by the Indre river, benefits from a dense network of associations that animate the village throughout the year. The mill that gave the association its name is a reminder of the hydraulic heritage of this valley.
The car boot sale opens at 7 am on Sunday morning. Entry is free. Contact: 02 47 26 29 31 or 06 66 48 13 38.
The 30th Vide-greniers du Moulin de Veigné will be held on June 7, 2026.
