The Sisteron-Oliva Twinning Committee organizes an annual car boot sale every autumn on the Esplanade des Marres, on the chemin de la Machine Fixe in Sisteron. The profits from this event fund the cultural exchanges between Sisteron and its Spanish twin city of Oliva.

The Esplanade des Marres

The Esplanade des Marres offers a spacious outdoor area with parking, restrooms, and a refreshment stand. The car boot sale is held from 6 am to 6 pm, with pitches of 5 meters with a vehicle at a price of 10 euros. On-site catering (barbecues, sandwiches) is provided by the committee's volunteers.
