300 exhibitors by the Dordogne

Each spring, the quays of Branne (33420) transform into a huge open-air flea market. With 300 exhibitors — individuals and professionals — the Branne car boot sale is one of the largest in the Gironde. Over several hundred meters along the Dordogne, stalls overflow with furniture, clothing, toys, books, crockery, trinkets, vinyl records, tools, and various objects. The marathon day, from 8 am to 8 pm, leaves plenty of time for browsing and bargaining.

Branne, a bastide town along the Dordogne

Branne is a small commune of about 1,700 inhabitants located on the banks of the Dordogne, halfway between Libourne and Sainte-Foy-la-Grande. A former bastide founded in the 13th century, it has a picturesque bridge and developed quays that offer an exceptional natural setting for this type of event.
