The Lécousse car boot sale is an annual event appreciated by bargain hunters from the Fougères region. Set up outdoors at the Pierre de Coubertin sports complex, around 100 private exhibitors offer a wide range of second-hand items from 9 am to 6 pm: clothes, toys, trinkets, crockery, books, small furniture, and various bric-a-brac. Lécousse, historic suburb of Fougères
Lécousse is a commune of about 3,200 inhabitants located just 2 km from Fougères, in the northeast of Ille-et-Vilaine. Historically linked to the city of Fougères, Lécousse nevertheless has its own identity with its listed church, its hiking trails, and its green living environment between hedgerows and valleys. Lécousse flea market traditionally organized by the Comité des Fêtes de Lécousse (Ille-et-Vilaine, 35), a commune on the outskirts of Fougères. The event was usually held at the Pierre de Coubertin sports complex and welcomed around 100 exhibitors, individuals and residents of the commune, on outdoor pitches with free access for bargain hunters.
