The car boot sale of Mauzac-et-Grand-Castang: bargain hunting on the banks of the Dordogne

Each summer, the association Les Chênes Verts organizes a car boot sale on the square in front of the town hall of Mauzac-et-Grand-Castang, a stone's throw from the Dordogne river. Private sellers set up their stalls from 6 a.m. to offer bargain hunters a wide selection of second-hand items: crockery, trinkets, clothes, books, toys, small furniture, and decorative objects.

Mauzac-et-Grand-Castang is a commune in the Périgord Noir, located in the famous Trémolat loop, one of the most beautiful meanders of the Dordogne. Information for exhibitors

Exhibitors can book their spot by SMS with the association Les Chênes Verts, at a rate of €2.50 per linear meter. Setup is possible from 6 a.m. The car boot sale runs from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., and entry is free for visitors.
