Every May, the Place de la Bazinie in Lalinde hosts a car boot sale organized by US Lalinde Basket. This spring event brings together between 50 and 100 private sellers in the heart of this 13th-century bastide, founded by Henry III of England on the banks of the Dordogne, in Périgord Pourpre.
US Lalinde Basket organizes this car boot sale to finance the purchase of equipment for the club's young players. Pitches are offered at 2.50 euros per linear meter, and setup is possible from 6:30 AM. The event is strictly reserved for individuals, ensuring a varied offering of second-hand items at low prices.
Lalinde is an old English bastide founded in 1267, whose regular checkerboard plan is still clearly visible. The town stretches along the Dordogne and its basin, offering pleasant walks along the water. The car boot sale on the Place de la Bazinie allows you to discover the historic center before strolling along the quays.
The basketball club volunteers provide refreshments and food throughout the day, contributing to the event's friendly atmosphere. Entry is free for visitors.
