For a quarter of a century, the center of Bourg-d'Oisans village has hosted its grand car boot sale every September. With 250 exhibitors expected, this event has established itself as the most important treasure hunting gathering in the Oisans valley and one of the largest in the Isère region in a mountain area.

An Exceptional Mountain Setting

Bourg-d'Oisans is the gateway to the famous Alpe d'Huez resort and the starting point for many excursions in the Grandes Rousses and Écrins massifs. The car boot sale takes place outdoors in the village center, offering treasure hunters a remarkable mountain setting between the still snow-capped peaks of early September. The Bourg plain, vast and bright, provides an ideal backdrop for this popular event.

250 Exhibitors at the Rendezvous

The attendance of 250 exhibitors testifies to the attractiveness of this car boot sale, which draws sellers from all over the Grenoble region and surrounding valleys. You can find everything: crockery, clothes, toys, books, trinkets, second-hand mountain equipment, garden furniture, and decorative objects. Reservation is mandatory at a rate of 4.50 euros per linear meter.

From 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM, visitors can browse the aisles of the car boot sale and enjoy the September weather in Oisans. The proximity of the village's shops and restaurants allows for a complete outing with a stroll through the lively streets of Bourg-d'Oisans.
