The Le Grenier village hall, at 225 rue de Bracquemont, hosts a car boot sale organized by Eric Desbats every spring. This treasure hunt event takes place in the famous village of Trémolat, nestled in the hollow of the spectacular cingle de la Dordogne, one of the most beautiful meanders of the river.

Trémolat, a village from the movies

Made famous by Claude Chabrol's film Le Boucher, shot in 1969, Trémolat is a charming village in the Périgord noir. Its fortified Romanesque church, its pale stone houses, and its traditional Tuesday market make it a popular stop for lovers of heritage and Périgord gastronomy. The car boot sale is part of this tradition of welcome and conviviality.

A friendly atmosphere

The Trémolat car boot sale offers a covered and outdoor space at the village hall, with on-site catering, several parking lots nearby, and restrooms. Coffee is offered to exhibitors upon arrival. The price of €2 per linear meter (or €15 for 10 meters) remains very affordable, encouraging participation from a wide range of occasional sellers.

Trémolat is located on the banks of the Dordogne, between Le Bugue and Lalinde. The Rocamadou viewpoint, accessible from the village, offers an exceptional panorama of the Trémolat loop and the Dordogne valley.
