Each summer in July, the village of Cardeilhac organizes its forest car boot sale. From 8 am to 5 pm, private exhibitors offer clothes, toys, crockery, trinkets, books, and various objects to bargain hunters. The event gets its name from the wooded setting that surrounds the village, offering a bucolic and shaded atmosphere that is particularly pleasant in the height of summer.

Cardeilhac, a forest village in Comminges

Cardeilhac is a commune of 269 inhabitants located in Comminges, 11 km northwest of Saint-Gaudens. The village covers 18.4 km², a significant area for such a small population, reflecting the presence of vast wooded and agricultural spaces. The commune is part of the community of communes Cœur et Coteaux du Comminges, between the Garonne and Neste valleys.
