The Loctudy Antiques Flea Market, a Quality Summer Event

Every summer, the Place des Anciens Combattants (also known as the Market Square) in Loctudy hosts the professional antiques flea market organized by Philippe Kergonna. Offered once or twice in July and once or twice in August, this event brings together professional exhibitors who present a curated selection of antiques, furniture, Breton earthenware, trinkets, and collector's items.

The flea market is open to visitors from 8 am to 6 pm, with completely free entry. Reserved for professionals or semi-professionals, it guarantees a high quality level of the items presented. In 2025, editions were held on July 10 and August 7. In 2026, the flea market is scheduled for July 16 and August 6, with a vintage flea market also planned for July 25.

Loctudy, Seaside Resort in the Pays Bigouden

Nestled at the confluence of the Pont-l'Abbé river and the Steïr estuary, Loctudy is a peaceful coastal town in the Pays Bigouden, in the south of Finistère. Known for its fishing port and marina, its sandy beaches, and its 11th-century Romanesque church, it attracts many holidaymakers each summer in search of tranquility and Breton authenticity.

Summer seaside life is punctuated by water activities, walks on the estuary islets, and local markets. The antiques flea market fits perfectly into this cultural and tourist offering, providing a welcome stop for lovers of antique objects and Bigouden earthenware. The organizer Philippe Kergonna, who also runs the Bénodet flea market and several markets in Finistère, ensures this event's regularity and recognized quality.
