Flea market and plant market as part of Yzeures'n'Flore, flower and antique festival in Yzeures-sur-Creuse
Yzeures'n'Flore is an original event that brings together two passions: flea markets and horticulture. In the streets and squares of Yzeures-sur-Creuse, antique dealers and second-hand dealers display their treasures — antique furniture, trinkets, tableware, books — while nurserymen and horticulturists offer rare plants, shrubs, flowers, and floral arrangements. The Musée Minerve hosts an exhibition of floral arrangements for the occasion, delighting botanical art enthusiasts.
Yzeures-sur-Creuse is a remarkable village in the south of Indre-et-Loire, known for its Musée Minerve which houses an exceptional collection of Gallo-Roman artifacts discovered in the region. The village is crossed by the Creuse river, a tributary of the Vienne, and offers hilly landscapes typical of southern Touraine. The stone houses, the Romanesque church, and the riverbanks create a particularly photogenic setting for this spring event.
The Yzeures'n'Flore program is not limited to flea markets and plants. Conferences and workshops on gardening, botany, and floral art are offered throughout the day. A market for local products allows visitors to discover the specialties of southern Touraine. Refreshments and on-site catering complete this day full of discoveries and encounters.
