Flea market in one of the most beautiful villages in France in the Loir valley
The Lavardin flea market and car boot sale is held every year in August in this village classified among the Most Beautiful Villages of France, at the foot of the ruins of the medieval castle. Exhibitors set up in the picturesque alleys of this gem of the Loir valley, offering an exceptional setting for a day of treasure hunting between heritage and nature.
Lavardin, classified among the Most Beautiful Villages of France, hosts its flea market and car boot sale every summer in August in an exceptional heritage setting. At the foot of the imposing ruins of the medieval castle overlooking the Loir valley, exhibitors take over the cobbled streets and small squares of the village.
The village of Lavardin is an architectural jewel with its troglodytic houses, its Romanesque church of Saint-Genest adorned with remarkable wall paintings, and its classified feudal ruins. Treasure hunting in this setting is a unique experience: between finds, admire the tuffeau facades and the flowery gardens that make the charm of this village perched above the Loir.
The Lavardin flea market attracts exhibitors from all over the region offering antiques, decorative objects, tableware, old books, and bric-a-brac. The prestigious setting of the village also attracts treasure hunters from afar, seduced by the rare alliance between heritage and open-air market.
The Lavardin flea market and car boot sale returns in August 2026 to the heart of this Most Beautiful Village of France.
Lavardin (41800), 2 km from Montoire-sur-le-Loir. Access via the D108 from Montoire.
