Antiquing in one of France's Most Beautiful Villages

Belvès, classified among the Most Beautiful Villages of France, hosts a flea market and car boot sale each month during the summer season, attracting bargain hunters from all over the Périgord noir. Organized by the Comité des Fêtes de Belvès, this event takes place in the village center and on the Place de la Halle, offering a remarkable medieval setting for antiquing.

A Monthly Event from June to August

50 to 100 exhibitors, individuals and professionals, set up each month to offer furniture, antique objects, books, clothing, tableware, and trinkets. Pitches are priced at €2.50 per linear meter outdoors (with a minimum of 7 meters for flea market vendors and 3 meters for car boot sale vendors at Place Croix des Frères) and €3 per meter under the covered market hall. Coffee is offered to exhibitors in the morning.

Belvès, a Medieval Town in the Périgord Noir

Perched on a rocky outcrop overlooking the Nauze valley, the medieval town of Belvès fascinates with its exceptional heritage: its troglodyte dwellings, its 11th-century belfry, its half-timbered houses, and its 15th-century covered market hall. Strolling among the stalls of the flea market in this historic setting is a unique experience, combining the pleasure of antiquing with architectural discovery.

Friendly Atmosphere Under the Market Hall

The covered market hall of Belvès offers welcome shelter on hot or rainy days, allowing exhibitors and visitors to enjoy the flea market whatever the weather. Refreshments and food complement the offerings, with parking available near the center.
