Every May 8th, the association Les Amis de l'Abbaye de Fongauffier organizes a car boot sale and small flea market in the magnificent Parc de l'Abbaye Saint-Géraud in Sagelat. This exceptional setting, nestled in the greenery of the Périgord Noir, gives this flea market a peaceful and bucolic atmosphere, far from the hustle and bustle of large fairs.

A heritage setting in Périgord Noir

The Abbaye de Fongauffier is a former abbatial site whose buildings and park surround the hamlet of Fongauffier, which also houses the Sagelat town hall. This remarkable heritage, nestled between Belvès and Siorac-en-Périgord, benefits from the commitment of the association's volunteers for its preservation and animation. The May 8th flea market fully participates in this dynamic of enhancing the site.

Located a few kilometers from Belvès, one of the most beautiful bastides in Périgord, the commune of Sagelat is a small rural village in the Nauze valley. Practical Information

The flea market takes place from 7 am to 7 pm in the Parc de l'Abbaye Saint-Géraud. Entry is free. Less than 50 exhibitors, individuals and professionals, offer their finds outdoors. Refreshments, toilets, and parking are available on site.
