Every autumn, the small village of Nozières (07270, Ardèche) transforms into a vast open-air flea market and car boot sale. Held in the streets of the village, this annual event celebrates over 20 years of existence and has become one of the must-attend events of the Ardèche autumn in the Pays de Lamastre. It attracts around 270 exhibitors and numerous visitors from the entire region and beyond each year.

The Nozières flea market takes over the entire village for a day: alleys, squares, and public spaces are covered with stalls offering an incredible diversity of items. Individuals clearing out their attics, professional dealers, and collectors mingle with second-hand enthusiasts and curious passers-by. You can find everything: antique furniture and furnishings, decorative objects, crockery and glassware, clothing and textiles, retro toys and games, books, vinyl records, and magazines, tools and agricultural equipment, trinkets, jewelry, and watches, and all the curiosities found in the attics and cellars of Ardèche homes.

Nozières is a village in Ardèche (department 07, Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region), located at an altitude of about 600 meters in the hills of the Pays de Lamastre, near the Doux valley. This authentic village of less than 250 inhabitants belongs to the community of communes Pays de Lamastre and offers a remarkable panorama from the famous viewpoint of the Balcon du Doux, a spectacular view of the deep river valley. The town hall is located on Place de la Fontaine.

The Nozières flea market is usually held in October, for a full day from 5:30 AM to 7 PM. This autumn schedule aligns with a well-established tradition in the flea market scene: exhibitors take advantage of the mild October days to present their finds from the end of the season, before the Ardèche winter. The 2025 edition was held on October 26, 2025.

Over the years, the Nozières flea market has built a loyal following of bargain hunters from Ardèche and Drôme, who make the trip every year for this unique day in the village streets. The event contributes to the economic and cultural vitality of the commune and the Pays de Lamastre region.
