Every year at the end of May, Vicq-sur-Nahon hosts its famous flea market, an event that combines a flea market, farmers' market, and entertainment. Exhibitors, professionals and individuals, offer antiques, old furniture, trinkets, tableware, tools, books, clothing, and various objects. The event spans a full day, from 6 am until sunset, and includes a raffle, entertainment, and food on site with refreshments.

Vicq-sur-Nahon is a commune of about 1,300 inhabitants located in the north of the Indre department, in the heart of the Champagne berrichonne. The village is crossed by the Nahon, a tributary of the Cher. This territory of large cereal crops is dotted with villages with white stone houses. The Vicq flea market is renowned well beyond the canton's borders, attracting bargain hunters and lovers of farm products from all over the north of the Indre and neighboring Loir-et-Cher.
