Annual Pentecost flea market and fair in Heugnes, Place Saint-Martin in the Indre
The brocante and Pentecost fair of Heugnes takes over Place Saint-Martin on Whit Monday. Traditional annual fair with flea market, local producers (wines, honeys, asparagus, plants), and agricultural machinery and vehicle exhibitions.
The Brocante and Pentecost Fair of Heugnes takes place on Whit Monday at Place Saint-Martin. This traditional annual fair combines a flea market — with furniture, crockery, trinkets, tools, toys, books, clothing, and attic items — with a local produce fair. Visitors can discover stalls from local producers offering Berry wines, honeys, asparagus, charcuterie, plants, and market garden produce. Agricultural machinery and vehicle exhibitions complete this festive and commercial day.
Heugnes is a commune of about 500 inhabitants located in the northeastern part of the Indre department, near Châtillon-sur-Indre and the border with Indre-et-Loire. The village is centered around its Place Saint-Martin and its church, in a landscape transitioning between the Champagne berrichonne and the Brenne region. The commune has preserved its rural traditions, including this Pentecost fair, which is one of the highlights of local life.
The Heugnes flea market and fair is accessible free of charge. Food and drink are available on site. The event takes place in a typical Berry village fair atmosphere.
The Heugnes Pentecost flea market and fair returns on May 25, 2026.
