Summer flea market organized by the festival committee of Palluau-sur-Indre, on the banks of the Indre
The July flea market in Palluau-sur-Indre is organized by the festival committee of this town of character on the banks of the Indre. In a remarkable medieval setting, exhibitors offer antiques, flea market items, and various objects to bargain hunters from the Indre valley.
Every summer, the festival committee of Palluau-sur-Indre organizes a flea market in the streets of this magnificent village classified among the villages of character of Berry. Exhibitors, professionals and individuals, offer antiques, furniture, trinkets, tableware, books, clothes, toys and second-hand items. The medieval setting of the village, with its castle, its old houses and its picturesque alleys, gives this flea market a special charm.
Palluau-sur-Indre is a commune of about 900 inhabitants nestled in a meander of the Indre, between Buzançais and Châtillon-sur-Indre. The village has remarkable architectural heritage: a feudal castle overlooking the valley, a Romanesque church with classified murals, and a set of old houses forming a medieval town center of great coherence. The river Indre winds at the foot of the village, offering shaded walks along its banks.
The Palluau flea market is an opportunity to discover this preserved village while looking for a good deal. A refreshment stand and food are generally provided by the festival committee. Admission is free.
The Palluau-sur-Indre flea market returns on July 19, 2026.
