On the first Saturday of November, Boulevard Bazeilles in Le Mourillon hosts its monthly flea market. Over 100 private and professional sellers line the seafront from 7am to 4pm. A lively rendezvous organised by the Association of Mourillon Shopkeepers in Toulon's seaside quarter.
Le Mourillon's monthly brocante
Every first Saturday of the month, Boulevard Bazeilles turns into a long open-air flea market. Over a hundred sellers, private and professional, set up along the seafront from Toulon bay to the district's colourful terraces.
The area, a former fishing village now a seaside district, offers a perfect setting: the sea in sight, Provençal light, ochre facades and century-old plane trees lining the avenue.
What to find
Provençal furniture, china and glassware, old linen, vinyls, books, maritime objects, old Riviera postcards, costume jewellery, comics, toys, vintage clothing. Expect both affordable finds and genuine collector's pieces.
Tips
Arrive before 9am for the best finds, bring cash, use public transport. Extend the day on the seafront terraces.
