The monthly brocante of Toulon's seaside district
Every first Saturday of the month, Boulevard Bazeilles in Le Mourillon turns into a long open-air brocante. Organised by the Association of Mourillon Shopkeepers, the April 2026 edition opens the spring season with over a hundred sellers, both private and professional, between the sea and old Toulon.
Le Mourillon, once a fishing village and now Toulon's iconic seaside district, comes alive on the first Saturday of each month around its brocante-vide-grenier. Boulevard Bazeilles, which runs along the seafront, is lined with stalls from morning to late afternoon, in a unique setting between Toulon bay and the colourful fishermen's facades.
The April 2026 edition traditionally marks the return of fine weather. Visitors stroll between stalls, hunting for bargains or unusual pieces, with the sea in the background.
For many years, the Association of Mourillon Shopkeepers has organised this event. It mixes private sellers clearing their cupboards with professional brocante dealers from Var and neighbouring departments. You can find anything from Provençal china, old linen, books, comics, vinyls, small furniture, maritime items, old postcards, costume jewellery, toys and vintage clothing.
After exploring the stalls, extend the morning on a terrace in one of the many cafés facing the beaches. Arrive early for the best finds, use public transport or a bike, and bring cash.
On Saturday 4 April 2026, the Mourillon brocante launched its spring season. Boulevard Bazeilles came alive from 7am with over 100 private and professional sellers facing the sea, welcoming visitors until 4pm.
The first Mourillon brocante of 2026 got the season off to a great start. Stalls lined Boulevard Bazeilles at dawn under mild Var skies. The Association of Mourillon Shopkeepers coordinated the event, and local cafés were packed well past closing.
