Flea market in front of the castle and church of Louppy-sur-Loison, with guided tours of the ruins
The flea market of Louppy-sur-Loison is held in the Place de l'Église, facing the imposing ruins of the Renaissance castle. With approximately 80 exhibitors, the event offers an exceptional heritage setting for a day of treasure hunting.
The ruins of the castle of Louppy-sur-Loison bear witness to the grandeur of this seigneurial residence built in the 16th century. Classified as a historical monument, the castle is one of the most remarkable examples of Renaissance architecture in Lorraine. The free guided tours organized during the flea market allow you to discover this exceptional heritage.
The village is crossed by the Loison, a tributary of the Meuse, in a landscape of hills and meadows typical of the northern Meuse region. The church of Louppy-sur-Loison, also listed, completes a rich heritage ensemble for such a small village.
The Louppy-sur-Loison flea market takes place every year on the 1st Sunday of September, on the church square and Rue Porte Haute, at the foot of the Renaissance castle. Organized by the Louppy-Loisirs association, this flea market and car boot sale welcomes around 80 exhibitors from 6:30 AM. Location at 1€ per linear meter, free entry for bargain hunters. Refreshments and light catering on site, as well as free guided tours of the castle ruins.
Organizer: Association Louppy-Loisirs (president Noël Collot)
