Every May 8th, a public holiday, the Amicale de Somme organizes its flea market and car boot sale in the residential streets of Mehun-sur-Yèvre. The rue du Richefort and rue des Écoles transform into an open-air market where individuals offer clothes, toys, tableware, books, trinkets, and everyday items. This event, separate from the car boot sale organized by the Judo Club at the end of May, offers Mehun residents and visitors another opportunity to hunt for treasures in the spring.

A Friendly and Associative Event

The Amicale de Somme, an active neighborhood association in Mehun-sur-Yèvre, mobilizes its volunteers to ensure the smooth running of the day. The drinks, fries, light snacks, and cakes are sold exclusively by the association, with profits funding activities throughout the year. The atmosphere is family-friendly and relaxed.
