Food, drinks, and pastries are available on site.
The Brocante de Sagonne is one of the most picturesque events on the flea market calendar in the Cher. Every first Sunday of July, the park of the Sagonne castle opens its doors to about 100 exhibitors, professional antique dealers and individuals, who set up their stalls in the shaded alleys of the estate. The castle, an imposing medieval fortress modified over the centuries, overlooks the village and offers a unique historical setting for this day of treasure hunting.
Sagonne is a small commune in the south of the Cher, located in the Boischaut region, between Saint-Amand-Montrond and Sancoins. Its castle, which houses the Mansart Artistic and Cultural Center, is one of the most remarkable monuments in the region. The village also organizes the famous Médiévales de Sagonne every summer, with equestrian jousting, crafts, and a medieval market. The July flea market complements this summer cultural offering.
From 8 am to 6 pm, the park's alleys host antique furniture, knick-knacks, crockery, books, toys, paintings, antique linens, and decorative objects. The association Sorties Sagonne offers food, drinks, and pastries on site. Admission is free for visitors. The tree-lined park offers welcome shade during this summer period, and the castle setting adds a heritage dimension to this treasure hunting day.
