Annual flea market organized by the Dynamique Désidérienne in Saint-Didier-sur-Chalaronne
The Dynamique Désidérienne (DD) organizes every last Sunday of July a large flea market in the center of the village of Saint-Didier-sur-Chalaronne. Between 200 and 300 private exhibitors set up under the market hall and in the streets of the center to offer a wide selection of second-hand items. The price is 3 euros per linear meter. Admission is free, with refreshments, food, and entertainment.
The Dynamique Désidérienne, a very active local association, organizes every last Sunday of July one of the largest car boot sales and flea markets in the Dombes and Val de Saône regions. The event takes place in the heart of the charming village of Saint-Didier-sur-Chalaronne, a town of character known for its old market halls and colorful facades.
Exhibitors set up under the market hall and in the streets and squares of the center. The number of stalls, between 200 and 300, makes this flea market one of the most important in the Ain department. You can find furniture, trinkets, old tableware, clothing, toys, books, and a wealth of collectible items.
Saint-Didier-sur-Chalaronne is a small town of character in the Dombes region, crossed by the Chalaronne river. Its historic center with its 13th-century market halls, its half-timbered houses, and its picturesque square offers an ideal setting for a quality flea market.
Entertainment and rides complete the offer, making this day a festive event for the whole family. Refreshments and catering are available throughout the day.
