The Garnerans car boot sale brings together around 45 private exhibitors each year in the center of this small village in the Saône plain. It's a human-sized event, where you take the time to chat with sellers and rummage through boxes in search of treasures.
Garnerans is a small rural commune in the Ain department, located in the Saône plain, between Villefranche-sur-Saône and Mâcon. The village, with its few hundred inhabitants, offers a typical rural setting of the Bresse region. The surrounding agricultural land and hedgerows create a peaceful and green landscape.
The car boot sale is held outdoors in the village center, taking advantage of the fine May weather. Entry is free for visitors. A refreshment stand is usually available to accompany the day of bargain hunting.

From Villefranche-sur-Saône, take the D933 towards Mâcon then turn off towards Garnerans (approx. 25 minutes). From Bourg-en-Bresse, follow the D936 west then join Garnerans.
Free parking in the village streets.
