The Brocante de Contrisson is one of the major events on May 1st in Meuse. Organized by the Sporting Club de Contrisson, it hosts over 300 exhibitors in the village streets. Exhibitors set up from 6 am, the public is welcomed from 8 am. Entry is free. Contrisson is a village in the south of Meuse, in the Saulx valley, which transforms each year into a huge sale attracting thousands of visitors.
Every May 1st, the village of Contrisson transforms into a huge flea market. With over 300 exhibitors, the Contrisson brocante is one of the largest in the Meuse department. The village streets host professional and private antique dealers offering furniture, tableware, trinkets, clothing, toys, and objects of all kinds.
The Sporting Club de Contrisson has been organizing this flea market for many years. The event, which has become a true local institution, allows the sports club to finance its activities while enlivening the village. The organization is well-rehearsed: exhibitors are welcomed from 6 am, while the public arrives from 8 am.
Located in the Saulx valley, south of Meuse, Contrisson is a village of about 700 inhabitants. The commune, crossed by the Saulx river, offers a green landscape of meadows and forests. On the day of the flea market, the village population multiplies by ten, with visitors coming from all over the Grand Est to enjoy this friendly and popular event.
