The Brocante d'Eygalières is a monthly market exclusively for professional flea market dealers and registered antique dealers. Every last Sunday of the month, over 60 professional exhibitors take over the rue de la République and place Marcel Bonein, in the heart of this emblematic village in the Alpilles, in the Bouches-du-Rhône region. Established several years ago, this flea market has become a must-attend event for lovers of antique objects and unique pieces.

Antique objects selected by professionals

The Brocante d'Eygalières stands out from typical car boot sales due to its selective approach. Only registered professionals are allowed to exhibit, ensuring a high-quality and authentic offering. Visitors can discover Provençal and period antique furniture, artisanal basketry, earthenware and ceramics, silverware, paintings and engravings, decorative objects, antique lighting, old tableware, and all sorts of curiosities. Prices reflect the expertise and knowledge of the professional dealers.

Eygalières, a jewel of the Alpilles

Eygalières (13810) is a hilltop village in the Alpilles massif, in the Bouches-du-Rhône department, with a history dating back over 2,500 years. Founded in the Celto-Ligurian period on a fortified oppidum overlooking the valley, the village has preserved its remarkable heritage through the centuries: the Chapelle Saint-Sixte (documented as early as 1155), the ruins of the feudal castle, oratories, and Provençal fountains and washhouses. Renowned for its centuries-old olive groves and AOC-classified vineyards, Eygalières is now one of Provence's most sought-after villages, appreciated for its authenticity and preserved setting at the foot of the Alpilles.

A solidarity event

Beyond its commercial purpose, the Brocante d'Eygalières has a strong social commitment. Organized by the association La Brocante d'Eygalières, it donates all its profits to the local CCAS (Communal Social Action Center). These funds are used to finance alert bracelets for the village's elderly residents, demonstrating a wonderful example of intergenerational solidarity. Shopping at Eygalières also means contributing to the well-being of the most vulnerable inhabitants.
