There is no edition scheduled in 2026 for this event. This page remains accessible to archive the history of the manifestation and will be updated if a new edition is announced.
Editorial verification information (May 2026) — at the time of our audit, no public source (official website of the commune of Eyguières, flea market aggregators brocabrac.fr and vide-greniers.org, local press, social networks) announces a 2026 edition of this car boot sale on June 1st. The historical information below reflects past editions: we have not been able to confirm the holding of the event this year. If you are the organizer and a 2026 edition is indeed scheduled, please let us know via the event modification form.
The Eyguières Car Boot Sale is traditionally a treasure hunt event organized by the commune in the streets of the town center of this Provençal village located at the foot of the Alpilles, in the Bouches-du-Rhône. Past editions gathered up to 200 private exhibitors around Place Thiers, offering second-hand items, clothes, crockery, toys, books, and trinkets to bargain hunters who came to stroll through the village streets.
The Eyguières Car Boot Sale is part of a local treasure hunting tradition historically organized by the commune of Eyguières. In previous editions, the streets of the town center, around Place Thiers, hosted up to 200 private exhibitors displaying their second-hand items from 8 am to 6 pm, near the village's shops, cafes, and restaurants. The atmosphere was friendly and family-oriented, with free entry for visitors.
As of May 25, 2026, we have found no public announcement for a 2026 edition of this car boot sale on June 1st. The official «vide-grenier» page on the Eyguières commune website only documents previous editions (notably that of October 17, 2021). Specialized aggregators (brocabrac.fr, vide-greniers.org) do not list any events in Eyguières for 2026. Documented historical editions were held on variable dates (October 2024, March 2025, October 2025), with no fixed pattern on June 1st. The 2026 edition is not confirmed at this stage.
We invite bargain hunters to check directly with the Eyguières town hall (official website eyguieres.org) or the tourist office before traveling.
Eyguières is a commune of nearly 7,000 inhabitants nestled at the eastern end of the Alpilles massif, about fifteen kilometers from Salon-de-Provence. The village is renowned for having the largest number of springs and fountains in the region: the fontaine Coquille, the fontaine Cocotte, and the fontaine des Bormes punctuate its shaded alleys and small squares lined with 18th-century private mansions. The public fountain of Eyguières has been classified as a Historic Monument since 1923, testifying to the importance of water in the history of this Provençal village.
Eyguières boasts a rich architectural heritage that is worth a visit. The Notre-Dame-de-Grâces church, in Byzantine style, dates from the 17th and 18th centuries. The Saint-Vérédème chapel, classified as a Historic Monument since 1906, honors the memory of this 7th-century hermit particularly revered in Provence. The remains of the Château de Roquemartine, a 12th-13th century medieval fortress perched on a rocky outcrop, offer a striking panorama of the Crau plain and the Alpilles massif.
The stalls at the Eyguières car boot sale traditionally offered a wide variety of second-hand items:
Eyguières is located 15 km northeast of Salon-de-Provence and 60 km southeast of Avignon, on the D17. The car boot sale takes place in the streets of the town center, around Place Thiers, near the village's shops and restaurants.
