The Foire Saint-Martin de Périgueux is a must-attend event for bargain hunters in Dordogne. Every year, on the last Sunday of June, over 500 exhibitors take over rue Gambetta and the streets of the Saint-Martin district around the Saint-Martin church and place Plumancy. With 5,000 to 6,000 visitors each edition, it is one of the most popular events in the prefecture of Dordogne.

Created over thirty years ago by the association Maison de Quartier Saint-Martin - La Gare, the Foire Saint-Martin has grown over the decades to become a Périgourdin institution. The 31st edition in 2025 confirmed the success of this event, which contributes to the animation and dynamism of the Saint-Martin district, a historic district of Périgueux located between the SNCF train station and the city center.

An immense choice for bargain hunters

Over 800 professionals and amateurs offer a considerable selection of items: antique furniture, vintage clothing, trinkets, books, vinyl records, decorative objects, and curiosities of all kinds. The stalls stretch for several hundred meters along rue Gambetta and in the adjacent streets, offering an exceptional bargain-hunting experience.

Entertainment and conviviality

Beyond bargain hunting, the Foire Saint-Martin offers street shows, concerts, fairground games, and food stalls. The atmosphere is festive and family-friendly, true to the neighborhood spirit that makes this event so strong. Exhibitors set up between 5:30 am and 8 am, and the fair opens its doors to visitors from 8 am to 6 pm.
