The Igny Autumn Antique Fair, a collectors' event at the approach of winter

Every 1st Saturday of October, the Comité d'Animation d'Igny organises its large Autumn Antique Fair at Place de la Ferme. Partnering the Spring Fair (1st Sunday of April), it forms one of the two major annual antique events in the town. With 150 to 200 dealers, it offers the chance to make fine discoveries in a warm autumnal atmosphere.

A professional fair: quality assured

Like the Spring Fair, the Igny Autumn Fair is mainly reserved for professional antique dealers. Antique furniture, Louis XV, XVI and Directoire pieces, Sèvres and Limoges porcelain, silver tableware, 18th- and 19th-century paintings and engravings, antique musical instruments, blown glass, bronzes and quality decorative objects are among the highlights.

Igny is a pleasant town to visit on a fair day. The Bièvre valley, transformed since the 1990s with the gradual restoration of the river and the creation of green walkways, offers a delightful extension to a day's antique hunting.
