Every spring, the Comité d'Animation d'Igny organises its large professional antique fair on Place François Collet. With around 200 professional dealers, this event is one of the most sought-after by collectors and antique enthusiasts in the Bièvre valley and southern Hauts-de-Seine. The distinctive feature of the Igny Spring Antique Fair is that it is exclusively for professional dealers. Antique and period furniture, tableware and porcelain, silver, paintings, engravings, antique clocks, jewellery, old books and curiosities: each dealer presents a carefully selected range of authentic items.

Igny, a residential town in the Bièvre valley

Igny is a community of around 10,000 inhabitants in the Bièvre valley between Massy and Bièvres. The Bièvre valley, long industrial with its tanneries, has been progressively restored to its natural vocation. Place François Collet is easily accessible from Massy-Verrières station (RER B and C).
