Every summer, the parking lot of the Cap-Coz Nautical Center in Fouesnant hosts a professional antique flea market. Editions in July and August.
During July and August, the parking lot of the Cap-Coz Nautical Center, in Fouesnant, transforms into an open-air antique market. This professional flea market brings together about thirty exhibitors specializing in antiques, old objects, and curiosities, in one of the most beautiful seaside locations in southern Finistère.
Unlike most car boot sales, this flea market mainly hosts professionals — antique dealers, second-hand dealers, and professional treasure hunters — who bring a careful selection of quality items: antique furniture, lighting, tableware, silverware, paintings and prints, clocks, trinkets, old books, jewelry, and decorative objects. The quality of the offerings makes it a popular event for antique lovers and summer tourists who enhance their seaside stay with a stroll through the market aisles.
The event is held from 9 am to 6 pm outdoors, with a view of the Bay of La Forêt and the Glénan Islands in the background. Regular editions take place on Sundays in July and August, allowing the large summer public in this popular seaside resort to enjoy the event.
Cap-Coz is a remarkable natural site at the tip of a peninsula closing the Bay of La Forêt, to the west. In July and August, the resort attracts many vacationers, some of whom enjoy combining swimming, walks, and discovering the local flea market.
The Nautical Center parking lot is accessible directly from the Cap-Coz road. Its large area allows for the setup of several dozen exhibitors in a spacious and pleasant area.
