Professional flea market and book market every Tuesday on Boulevard des Arceaux in Montpellier
Every Tuesday from 7:30 AM to 5 PM, the Boulevard des Arceaux hosts the Broc'Art, a professional market that delights lovers of flea market finds and old books. Between 15 and 20 exhibitors—all registered professionals—display their stalls under the shade of the iconic Saint-Clément aqueduct, a 17th-century architectural masterpiece. Patinated furniture, antique tableware, prints, rare editions, trinkets, and curiosities make up a constantly renewed inventory. Regulars know to arrive early: the best pieces go quickly among connoisseurs.
Founded in 2007 at Plan Cabanes, Broc'Art was moved in 2016 to Boulevard des Arceaux, a more spacious and visible location. This move helped the market gain notoriety and attendance. Under the majestic arcades of the aqueduct, dealers have an exceptional setting to present their finds. The market also offers an appraisal and advice service, valuable for individuals wishing to evaluate an inheritance or a family heirloom.
The Arceaux district owes its name to the Saint-Clément aqueduct, built between 1753 and 1765 to supply the city with water from the Lez spring. This monument, inspired by the Pont du Gard, spans the boulevard on two levels of golden stone arches. The district is also famous for its Saturday organic market, one of the most renowned in France. The Tuesday Broc'Art complements this market vocation, making Arceaux an essential place for lovers of quality and authenticity.
