Every spring, the Autominiateur'28 association—which brings together miniature car collectors from Eure-et-Loir—organizes its collectibles fair in the Thiron-Gardais village hall. The event runs from 10 am to 6 pm, with exhibitor setup possible from 9 am. Spaces are available for 6 euros per linear meter, and advance booking is mandatory for exhibitors.
While miniature cars are the heart of the event, the fair is open to all collections: antique toys, scale models, postcards, coins, stamps, books, figurines, and other collectibles. It brings together professional and private exhibitors in a shared passion atmosphere.
The Autominiateur'28 association unites miniature car and model enthusiasts from Eure-et-Loir. It regularly organizes meetings and exchanges between collectors, with this annual fair being the highlight. The event allows collectors to complete their collections, buy, sell, and trade in a friendly environment, while also introducing their passion to the general public.
Miniature cars are a very active collecting field in France, with many historic brands (Dinky Toys, Corgi, Solido, Matchbox, Norev, Eligor…) and items that can reach significant values for rare models or those in their original boxes. Thiron-Gardais thus hosts a benchmark event each year for enthusiasts of this kind in the Centre-Val de Loire region.
Thiron-Gardais is a village of about 1,000 inhabitants located in the Perche region, about twenty kilometers southwest of Nogent-le-Rotrou. The village is famous for its Abbey of the Holy Trinity, founded in 1114 by Saint Bernard of Thiron, which was the origin of an important monastic congregation in the Middle Ages, radiating as far as Scotland and Brittany. The partially preserved abbey buildings, including a remarkable Romanesque abbey church, bear witness to this glorious past.
This exceptional heritage setting gives Thiron-Gardais real tourist appeal, and popular events like the collectibles fair are held here in the tradition of friendly Perche events.
The Autominiateur'28 Collectibles Fair will be held in March 2026 at the Thiron-Gardais village hall, from 10 am to 6 pm (setup from 9 am). Mandatory booking for exhibitors. Information available on collector reference sites or from the association.
