The great Apt spring rendezvous

The Grand Flea Market at Riaille Park, held in early May, is the flagship spring event of the Pays d'Apt. Just two days after the 1 May flea market, it extends the long weekend with a second major gathering, this time in the shaded setting of the park itself.

A redeveloped leisure park

The Riaille Park spans 8 hectares around the lake of the same name, northwest of Apt. Recently redeveloped, it offers a lush setting with a lake fed by the Riaille river, shaded areas, playgrounds, a certified family fishing trail and vast lawns. This natural environment is part of the flea market's charm.

What you will find

Classic Provençal vide-grenier bric-a-brac: adult and children's clothing, toys, books, crockery, vinyl records, baby gear, decor, small furniture, tools, garden gear and sports items. The proximity of Luberon brocanteurs and collectors sometimes brings lovely vintage pieces, Provençal pottery, old linen and second-hand artworks.

A tradition rooted in the Pays d'Apt

Apt, sub-prefecture of the Vaucluse, cultivates a rich tradition of brocantes and markets. Its Saturday market, listed among the finest in France, draws thousands each week. The 3 May flea market fits into this Provençal tradition of exchange and conviviality. A perfect occasion also to discover Apt's PGI candied fruit, a specialty famous since the 14th century.
