A large car boot sale to benefit schoolchildren

The Grand Spring Car Boot Sale of Baixas, a wine-growing village of 2,500 inhabitants located about ten kilometers northwest of Perpignan, is one of the flagship spring events in the commune. Organized by the Association Pour les Écoliers Baixanencs, which works to support pupils in the village schools, it takes place on Sunday, April 12, 2026 at Experior, an event area located on Avenue du Maréchal Joffre. The entire proceeds support educational projects, school trips and extracurricular activities for Baixas children.

129 pitches for abundant bargain hunting

With its 129 pitches, this car boot sale is one of the largest in the western part of the Perpignan area. The Experior, with its large surface and accessibility, welcomes private individuals and families offering clothes, dishes, toys, books, trinkets, small furniture and everyday items. The organization from 8 am to 3 pm allows bargain hunters to enjoy the whole morning and early afternoon of hunting.

Baixas is inseparable from its Dom Brial cooperative winery, founded in 1923 and celebrating its centenary in 2023. Elected France's best wine cooperative at a prestigious world competition, Dom Brial brings together 220 cooperative members who cultivate the AOC Rivesaltes, Muscat de Rivesaltes and Côtes-du-Roussillon vineyards.
