One of the largest autumn flea markets in Roussillon
Each year in October, the town of Baho, located in the Ribéral plain just ten minutes from Perpignan, hosts one of the largest autumn brocantes in the Pyrénées-Orientales. This event attracts many local exhibitors and hundreds of visitors each year who come to hunt for bargains, chat, and enjoy a beautiful Catalan autumn day.
Dozens of stalls set up in the streets of the village offer a huge selection: antique furniture, dishes, collectible glassware, decorative items, old linen, books, comic books, antique toys, vintage clothing, tools, trinkets, and curiosities. Treasure hunters and families walk the aisles in a friendly atmosphere, between laughter, negotiations, and good deals.
A Catalan town of about 2,700 inhabitants, Baho is part of the natural region of the Ribéral, a fertile plain that stretches along the Têt west of Perpignan. The departmental bus line 10 connects Baho to Perpignan in less than 20 minutes, with regular stops in the neighboring towns of Villeneuve-la-Rivière, Saint-Estève, and Le Soler, which greatly facilitates access for visitors from the metropolitan area. The village retains its authentic Catalan character and comes particularly alive on the occasion of this autumn event, which has become a must-see on the Roussillon brocantes calendar.
