The springtime meeting point for bargain hunters on the banks of the Seine in Parc Corbière
Every April, the AVF (Accueil des Villes Françaises) association of Le Pecq organizes its major flea market in the picturesque setting of Parc Corbière, along the Seine. Around 92 private exhibitors set up their stands in this landscaped park, between Quai Voltaire and the riverbank. Family atmosphere, good deals and riverside strolls are the hallmarks of this flagship event in the local calendar.
Organized by the local branch of Accueil des Villes Françaises (AVF), the national association welcoming newcomers to French towns, the Le Pecq flea market has become a highlight of the local spring season. The event brings together around 92 private sellers offering furniture, clothing, books, toys, tableware and knick-knacks in a friendly, unpretentious atmosphere.
The choice of Parc Corbière as the venue is no coincidence. This 2.5-hectare leisure garden, listed on the General Inventory of Cultural Heritage, is one of the few landscaped parks in the Paris region opening directly onto the Seine. Laid out at the end of the 19th century around a former bourgeois estate, it offers bargain hunters a backdrop of century-old trees, gently sloping lawns and sweeping views of the river. Wandering from stall to stall here takes on a special, almost pastoral dimension, just a few kilometers from Paris.
True to the spirit of AVF, the Le Pecq edition cultivates a welcoming feel where visitors come as much to hunt for treasures as to stroll with their families. Guests wander along Quai Voltaire, pausing at stands of retro tableware, childhood toys, old comic books and small furniture. Held traditionally on a Saturday, the market lends itself nicely to a riverside lunch or a walk across the footbridge to the Île de la Loge.
A commune of nearly 16,000 inhabitants nestled in the Seine loop at the foot of the Saint-Germain terrace, Le Pecq combines heritage, nature and a relaxed pace of life. Crossed by the river and bordered by the Saint-Germain forest, it makes a pleasant stop for flea market lovers in the Yvelines. Visitors can extend their day with a tour of the nearby Saint-Germain-en-Laye castle or a walk along the riverside paths to Le Port-Marly and Marly-le-Roi.
With its exceptional setting, the well-oiled organization by passionate volunteers and its convivial atmosphere, the AVF Le Pecq flea market has established itself as a spring fixture for bargain hunters of the western Paris region. Free admission for visitors; stands reserved for private sellers living in Le Pecq and neighboring communes.
The AVF Le Pecq flea market will take place on Saturday 25 April 2026 at Parc Corbière, Quai Voltaire. Around 92 private exhibitors will display their finds in the exceptional setting of the Seine riverside, from 8am to 7pm. Free admission.
