Fair of antique dealers and art objects at the multipurpose hall of Parc Expo d'Aubusson
The Aubusson Antiquities Fair is an annual event for lovers of antiques and art objects, organized by JPA Organisation at the multipurpose hall of Parc Expo d'Aubusson. For two days, about thirty professional antique dealers and art merchants exhibit in a covered and heated space, offering visitors a rich and varied panorama: antique furniture, tapestries, paintings, art objects, silverware, ceramics, jewelry, and curiosities. Aubusson, world-renowned for its tapestry inscribed in UNESCO's intangible heritage, provides a natural setting for this fair dedicated to beautiful things. Admission is free and catering is available on-site.
Every year in April, the multipurpose hall of Parc Expo d'Aubusson transforms into a vast space dedicated to antiques and art objects. The Antiquities Fair brings together thirty professionals from all over France to offer a remarkable range of antique pieces and collector's items. From 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., visitors stroll among the carefully arranged stands in search of that rare piece that will bring them joy.
The fair offers a wide diversity of specialties: antique furniture, tapestries, paintings, sculptures, silverware, ceramics, jewelry, old books, display objects, and curiosities of all kinds. The antique dealers present are recognized professionals who guarantee the authenticity and quality of the exhibited pieces. Aubusson, a land of tapestry for six centuries, gives this fair a special dimension, where one can sometimes find pieces related to this exceptional art.
JPA Organisation orchestrates this fair with the expertise of a professional in antique events. The layout of the multipurpose hall allows for smooth circulation between the stands, in a comfortable and covered environment. Coffee is offered to exhibitors, and catering is available to all visitors, creating an atmosphere conducive to exchanges and discoveries.
Aubusson is a city of art and history whose influence extends far beyond the borders of the Creuse. The International City of Tapestry, inaugurated in 2016, retraces six centuries of know-how inscribed in the intangible cultural heritage of humanity by UNESCO. Visitors to the fair can take advantage of their stay to discover this exceptional museum, the old town with its half-timbered houses, and the banks of the Creuse river.
