Exhibitors, exclusively private individuals, set up their tables and displays on the Place des Promenades, in a lively and family-friendly market atmosphere.

Airvault is a commune with exceptional architectural heritage. Its Saint-Pierre abbey church, founded around 975, is one of the finest examples of Romanesque art in Poitou-Charentes, classified as a historical monument since 1914.
