Two days of family bargains in the medieval town of Airvault
Airvault, a remarkable medieval town in northern Deux-Sèvres, hosts a car boot sale specially designed for families every spring. Held over two days, this event focuses on family items: seasonal clothing, toys, childcare equipment, and children's gear.
The originality of this event lies in its resolutely family-oriented positioning. Exhibitors, exclusively private sellers, offer carefully selected items: spring and summer clothing for all ages, toys in good condition, pushchairs, car seats, children's books, and many other everyday family treasures.
The Airvault Early Childhood Relay enriches the event by offering motor skills activities for young children at the Maurice Barret gymnasium. These playful workshops, available by reservation, allow families to combine shopping with playtime for their little ones.
The town of Airvault, classified among the Petites Cités de Caractère, offers a magnificent setting. Its 11th-century Saint-Pierre abbey church, medieval bridge over the Thouet, and cobbled streets create an enchanting backdrop.
The Family Car Boot Sale is part of Airvault's rich calendar of events, which also includes the famous Easter Fair and numerous events throughout the year.
