Car boot sale, farmers' market and activities in the heart of the village of Montaud
Since 2006, the Montaud Village Festival has brought together locals and visitors for a day of conviviality in the heart of the Vercors Regional Natural Park. This small village of 530 inhabitants, perched at 741 meters altitude, offers a remarkable natural setting for this summer event which combines a car boot sale, farmers' market, and family activities.
With about twenty exhibitors set up at Les Rames, the Montaud car boot sale cultivates an intimate and authentic format. Individuals and local producers mingle on the stalls, offering both second-hand items—crockery, books, clothes, trinkets—and local Vercors products. This mix of genres is the charm of this village festival, which is unlike any other.
Beyond the car boot sale, the Montaud Village Festival offers a market of local producers featuring Vercors cheeses, honey, jams, and other specialties. Activities and games are organized for children, while food and drinks allow you to extend the day in a festive and family atmosphere. Parking is free.
Montaud is part of the Vercors Regional Natural Park, an exceptional territory between Grenoble and the Vercors plateaus. The village, dominated by limestone cliffs, offers spectacular panoramas of the surrounding massifs. The village festival is an opportunity to discover this preserved hamlet and its exceptional living environment, far from the urban hustle and bustle.
