Every first Sunday of September, the AEC (Association d'Éducation et de Culture) of Longchaumois organizes a car boot sale in the village center of this Haut-Jura commune. It's the back-to-school event for bargain hunters in the region.

Longchaumois, a dynamic village in Haut-Jura

Longchaumois is a mountain village located at an altitude of about 900 meters, in the natural regional park of the Haut-Jura, not far from Morez and the Swiss border. The village is known for its dynamic associations and its many events throughout the year: spring fair, organic fair in October, and this September car boot sale.

A day of treasure hunting in the mountains

The AEC car boot sale offers the usual items: second-hand clothes, toys, crockery, trinkets, books, and small furniture. The atmosphere is relaxed and family-friendly. Late summer vacationers mingle with locals to browse the stalls in search of bargains.
