Villefranche-du-Périgord opens its antiques fair on Friday 21 August and closes it on Sunday 23. Around it the region unpacks: Felletin on the bank of the Creuse, Anglet and its 150 stalls, two shopkeepers' street sales between the Vienne and the Arcachon basin.

The Villefranche-du-Périgord Antique Dealers' Fair takes over Place de la Liberté from Friday 21 to Sunday 23 August, in this small town of the Périgord Noir. Held at the end of every August across fifty-five editions, it ranks among the oldest and best-known dates in the area for collectors of antiques and works of art.
Four spaces host the exhibitors at once: the medieval hall, the indoor room, the Place de la Halle and a marquee raised for the occasion. Professional dealers lay out old furniture, works of art and curiosities across three full days.
Late-night opening included.
That is what sets the fair apart from the sales that open at dawn and pack up in the late afternoon.
Professional traders fill the aisles here, and old furniture holds the place that crockery and toys take at a car boot sale. The calendar barely moves from year to year: the fair sits at the end of August, and the 2026 edition lands on the weekend of 22 and 23 August.
Once-a-year dates in the Creuse and the Corrèze
At Felletin, the Antiques and Flea Market Day brings together more than 80 exhibitors, dealers and private sellers alike, in the Pont Roby quarter beside the river Creuse on Saturday and Sunday, for a twenty-ninth edition run by the Felletin Patrimoine Environnement association. On the Allée des Marronniers, at the foot of the Château de Pompadour and its national stud farm, the annual flea market of Arnac-Pompadour takes sellers from 8 a.m. on both days, on 4-by-4-metre pitches priced at 8 euros by the village events committee.
Down to the estuary.
On Sunday, the Saint-Fiacre fair takes the village centre of Mortagne-sur-Gironde from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., mixing brocante, car boot sale, vintage cars, craft makers, a petting farm and trike rides, under the hand of the Collectif de la Saint-Fiacre. The Val-de-Bonnieure bric-a-brac takes up to 100 sellers on the Barraude ground on 23/08/2026, with placing from 5.30 a.m. for early risers.
Espagnac closes its village feast.
The Espagnac votive feast car boot sale holds the village square all Sunday, alongside a walking trail, after a Saturday given to the cycling Grand Prix, the village market, ham on a string and fireworks.
